SAV members perform a number of tasks vital to the overall mission of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. These operations include Patrol, Fingerprinting, Emergency Response, Crime Prevention, Neighborhood Watch, Field Operations, Administration, Special Activities, and Training. SAVs are exceptionally trained individuals who have represented the Department since 1982. This non-profit volunteer organization has provided over one million hours of service to the community.
